Organizers expect thousands at Trenton budget rally

Friday night, organizers were working hard making last minute preparations for the rally scheduled for Saturday in Trenton.

Members of CWA Local 10-33 spent much of the evening making calls, trying to get the word out about Saturday's rally outside the state house. Piles of signs were stacked alongside boxes of hand-held fans. Bags were filled with buttons, all in anticipation of the large crowd expected.

The rally tomorrow is to protest Governor Christie - anger over his budget proposal.

Street Closures are expected in Trenton, select Numbers and Links to see exactly what roads will be effected.

Shops near the state house geared up for the protest as well, click next to see the video on what local pizzerias, restaurants, and ice cream shops are doing to do to prepare for the large crowds that are expected.

Tune to News 12 New Jersey all this weekend for coverage of the rally. Chopper 12 will be on hand to capture the crowds.
