Gov. Christie celebrates Super Bowl XLVIII pick

Gov. Chris Christie appeared today at the new Meadowlands Stadium to celebrate the Super Bowl coming to the Garden State.

Christie said he is confident that New Jersey will be well prepared to host the event in 2014.

Yesterday, NFL owners decided to put professional football's biggest game in the new $1.6 billion Meadowlands stadium that's about to become home to the New York Giants and Jets.

The game, played in early February, will be the first Super Bowl held outdoors in a cold weather region.
