Theme park kicks off summer with new ride

A new water ride will kick off the summer at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor.

The new attraction called, "The Tornado," drops riders down a 60-foot high, 135-foot long water funnel. Riders then get pushed by 5,000 gallons of water into a calm and refreshing catch pool.

The 45-acre park is currently open on weekends with daily operation beginning June 19.
