Mother of murdered son asks witnesses to come forward

Parents who lost their children to gunfire held a vigil tonight to ask witnesses for help solving their murders.

The mother of one of the victims, Monica Boyd, told the people who saw her son get killed to stop holding back and go to the police. Her son, 15-year-old Shafe Boyd, was gunned down while attending a Memorial Day barbecue four years ago. Boyd says there are still no suspects.

Boyd says she is still shattered by her son's death and prays every day that his murder will be solved.
