2 dogs thrown from moving car in Middletown
The Monmouth County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is looking for two men who allegedly tossed two dogs out of their moving vehicle on Tuesday night in Middletown, according to officials
Bill Roy, of Bayside Parkway in Middletown, allegedly witnessed two men in a green Mazda four-door toss two Chihuahuas out of the moving car in front of his home.
"I've lived around here almost my entire life, and I've never, never seen anything like that before. For people to do that is just, just unconscionable," said Roy.
According to Monmouth County SPCA Chief Buddy Amato, the two dogs suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident. The 3-year-old male puppy suffered cuts abrasions and a chipped tooth from the fall. The 1-year-old female puppy suffered a bruised and swollen shoulder.
Amato said, "People like this just don't realize the consequences of their actions."
The dogs are being cared for at the Monmouth County SPCA shelter in Eatontown.
