Fireworks displays in Red Bank still on

As some towns are canceling their fireworks for the Fourth of July this year, Red Bank says its fireworks display will go on as planned.

Red Bank says it is going forward as planned with its Kaboom fireworks show, which usually draws thousands. The event will be held on July 3 and will take place along the Navesink River.

Jersey City announced that economic conditions forced it to cancel its fireworks show for this year. News 12 New Jersey will be checking in with other communities to see if the budget crunch is affecting their upcoming holiday celebrations.
