North Bergen H.S.: Terror suspect was considered dangerous

A spokesman for the North Bergen School District has confirmed that suspected terrorist Mohammed Alessa was an on-again, off-again student at North Bergen High School.

The spokesman said in a statement that Alessa was removed from North Bergen High School "to protect students and staff members." The statement also says that students and staff had reported Alessa to the federal government based on his actions.

Alessa was arrested along with Carlos Almonte on Saturday night as the two tried to board planes at John F. Kennedy International Airport. The FBI says they were heading to train at a terrorism camp in Somalia.
