Funeral arrangements set for NJ trooper

(AP) - Officials have announced funeralarrangements for the New Jersey state trooper who died after he washit by a car while on patrol Sunday.

A viewing for Marc Castellano will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday atLakewood Funeral Home in Howell.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at SaintVeronica's Catholic Church in Howell. Burial will follow at SaintRose Lima Cemetery in Freehold.

The 29-year-old married father of two preschoolers was struck onInterstate 195 while searching for a second person from anabandoned a car that authorities were looking for.

Police say the driver of the abandoned car lied about having acompanion.

Diana Hoffman of Blackwood is held on $500,000 bail, chargedwith eluding police, resisting arrest and other offenses.
