Viewers outraged over 'disabled' lawmaker who competes in races

Many News 12 New Jersey viewers say they are outraged following an investigation that found a "disabled" state lawmaker still competes in races. The Kane In Your Corner investigation focused on Assemblyman Dave Rible, who retired from the Wall Township Police Department with a back injury at 31. The state's pension board said the injury left Rible "totally and permanently disabled." In addition to competing in races, the investigation found that Rible also still works out at a gym. Rible insisted to News 12 New Jersey that he is not taking advantage of the disability system. One viewer said "my heart is racing and my blood pressure is about to blow a hole through my head like Mt. Vesuvias!" Another viewer said Rible collecting disability is "blatantly wrong." Other viewers said the probe's findings prove the system needs to be changed. To leave your comments, visit the .
