8-year-old saves friend from lake

An 8-year-old boy is being called a hero after he jumped into a lake to save his drowning friend.

Reese Ronceray and his 5-year-old friend, Andrew Gentile, were swimming at a small lake in Long Valley when Gentile began to drown.

The 8-year-old sprung into action by diving into the lake to rescue his friend. "I jumped in, swam over, and put him in a little triangle shape and swam him back to shore," said Ronceray.

The two boys made it out of the lake safely.
