Volunteer group spends Father's Day with kids

A group of volunteers in Newark have started a tradition that takes inner-city kids to the beach to celebrate Father's Day.

The Street Warriors, a group of mentors, says they take a group of inner-city youths to Seaside Heights on Father's Day to let them have some fun away from the harsh city environment.

Earl Best says the Street Warriors' message on Father's Day is not all inner-city kids need to be violent, not all dads are deadbeat dads.

Best says the trip is becoming so popular he had to turn kids away this year. Best says he hopes to make it an even bigger event next year.
