NJ copes with high temperatures, braces for more heat

High temperatures and humidity moved in across the Garden State today and they will be around for at least one more day. The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat warning for Mercer County until 8 p.m. Thursday.

Temperatures are expected to fall Friday as a cool front moves into the region.

Garden State residents are urged to use caution when working or exercising outdoors. Drinking plenty of water and taking breaks is also advised.
