Discover New Jersey: Geocaching

People around New Jersey are taking part in a modern-day treasure hunt.

Geocaching requires participants to use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver to locate hidden "caches" anywhere in the world.

Coordinates for the hidden caches can be found online, in books and even on some smart phone applications.

One of the state's foremost geocachers, Brian Sniatkowski, tells News 12 New Jersey there are thousands of hidden caches around the Garden State.
