New Jersey 4th of July Fireworks Displays

It's not the Fourth of July without fireworks.

But some towns in New Jersey are celebrating with a lot less sizzle this year.

Budget deficits and dwindling donations have pushed cities like Jersey City and Paramus to cancel their annual celebrations this year. But other towns including Hackensack and West Orange have kept their Independence Day events afloat.

Among the towns canceling fireworks this year: - Paramus Borough- Jersey City- Village of Ridgefield Park- Montclair Township (Parade and picnic will go on) - North Arlington Borough- Edison Township- Jackson Township
