$2M bail for Denville man charged in ex-wife's slaying
(AP) - Bail has been set at $2 million for a63-year-old New Jersey man facing murder and weapons charges in thestabbing death of his ex-wife.
State Superior Court Judge David Ironson set separate bail of$30,000 on charges that Anthony Novellino of Denville madeterroristic threats to his wife's divorce lawyer.
Appearing by video link from the Morris County Jail, Novellinospoke during Wednesday's proceeding only to acknowledge that heneeds a lawyer.
The body of his former wife, Judith, a high school Englishteacher, was found in their home June 19. She'd been stabbed morethan 80 times. Prosecutors say Anthony Novellino had covered herface with a Halloween pig-face mask.
He was returned to New Jersey Monday following his arrest inWashington state last Thursday.
