Historic A.J. Meerwald docks in Jersey City

The A.J. Meerwald, a Delaware Bay oyster schooner, launched in 1908 and was commissioned as New Jersey's official tall ship in 1998.

The Bayshore Discovery Project, home to the A.J. Meerwald, aims to motivate people to take care of the history, culture and environment of New Jersey's Bayshore region through education and public outreach programs that serve more than 50,000 people each year.

The ship will be docked at Liberty State Park from July 1 to July 13.

All details and reservations can be made by contacting the Bayshore Discovery Project
