ShakeFest completes second season at Drew University

A group of New Jersey teachers gathered for two weeks to learn how to design active and engaging ways to teach Shakespeare and other classic dramatic literature. The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey has just completed its second season of ShakeFest at Drew University in Madison. ShakeFest's goal is to teach educators how to use Shakespeare as a powerful and effective teaching tool. The program provided teachers with an intense immersion into the world of Shakespeare. Teachers hope to use this training to present exciting lessons during the upcoming school year.
