Two golfers injured when lightning struck a tree at a golf course in Ringoes

Two golfers were injured Wednesday after a bolt of lightning hit a tree near the second hole of the Heron Glen Golf Course in Ringoes.

The two women standing near the tree were knocked down by the tremendous force of the lightning strike.

It wasn't a direct hit and the golfers were not seriously injured during the thunderstorm.
