Tropical Storm Charley leaves New Jersey damp and windblown

Tropical Storm Charley left New Jersey damp and windblown after the tropical storm warning was lifted early Sunday. Officials say there were no major flooding or power disruptions reported.

Some New Jersey surfers enjoyed the large waves Charley produced in the Atlantic Ocean Saturday. Many residents were prepared in case Charley wrecked havoc like it did in Florida.

Power and lighting officials as well as fire departments were on standby in case of emergencies.
