New Jersey budget is the main issue at McGreevey, Codey transition meeting

There are fewer than 55 days before the transfer of power from Governor McGreevey's administration to Senate President Dick Codey's administration. Transition teams have been holding meetings to discuss various concerns. New Jersey's budget was the main issue discussed on Tuesday.

Codey's Chief of Staff Pete Cammarano led the meeting in the Senate president's conference room. One of the governor's staff members, Doug Hritz, was there to answer questions from the Codey administration.

Cammarano says there will not be an avalanche of personnel changes. He also says both transition teams have a lot of common goals so things are running smoothly.
