McGreevey makes first public appearance in Atlantic City since resigning from office

Governor Jim McGreevey (D-NJ) made his first public appearance Wednesday since resigning from office two weeks ago.

McGreevey signed a pair of bills in Atlantic City that benefit the casino industry. Even though there were plenty of reporters in attendance, McGreevey made it clear he would not be answering any questions. When the Governor was introduced by former Governor Brendan Byrne, he received a standing ovation from the audience.

One of the Governor's staff members says this was just the first step towards bringing McGreevey back into public view.
