Documents accuse principal of Madison school of further sexual misconduct

(09/09/04) MADISON Court documents filed by the Morris County Prosecutors office accuse the principal of a catholic high school in Madison of making sexual advances at another male student and janitor.

Bayley-Ellard principal Frank Mattiase was indicted in October 2003 on charges he molested a 17-year-old student and a former teacher. New court documents filed by the Morris County Prosecutors office accuse the principal of also touching the genitals of another male teenage student and touching the buttocks of a janitor at another school. No charges have been filed in association with the allegations made in these court documents.

Mattiases lawyer says the prosecutor allowed a grand jury to hear second-hand information and has asked the judge to dismiss the indictment. Bayley-Ellard placed Mattiase on administrative leave with pay.
