Transit officials expect another hectic commute across the Hudson

Transit officials are telling commuters to be prepared for possible delays Tuesday if they travel across the Hudson by train.

A three-hour halt in service Monday afternoon was caused by a transformer explosion and a fire on tracks in New York used by Amtrak.

Limited service has resumed on both Amtrak and New Jersey Transit, including the Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast Line and Midtown Direct trains.
