Bogota elementary school students move classrooms for the second time this year

Elementary school students in Bogota have to move classrooms for the second time since school started this year.

Last week students at the Bixby School were moved into the high school because renovations were not finished. This week students were moved to the Steen School because the renovations are still incomplete.

The Steen School is conducting split sessions to accommodate all the students attending classes. Some parents are upset over the temporary split sessions. Other parents have no complaints and say the school will be state of the art when it is finished.

The school superintendent says the entire situation was unpredictable and he is disappointed with the services. He also says though the situation is not ideal, it is a practical solution until the school is ready. There is no word on when the Bixby School will reopen.
