Classes run as scheduled at William Paterson University after shooting

Classes ran as scheduled Monday at William Paterson University in Wayne after a former student was there shot over the weekend.

Many students on campus seemed calm despite the shooting. However, some were shocked to hear that a student was shot on university grounds.

Police say the former student was shot in the leg outside a university gym early Sunday morning during a dance. The male victim was taken to St. Josephs Regional Medical Center in Paterson.

So far, no arrests have been made.
