Vice presidential nominee John Edwards makes campaign stop in Bayonne

Democratic vice presidential nominee John Edwards made a campaign stop in Bayonne Thursday.

Senator Edwards laid another series of attacks against the Bush administration during the town hall style meeting held at Cape Liberty Port. He also took questions from the crowd on topics ranging from minimum wage to prescription drugs.

Most of the nearly 500 people in the audience were supporters. However, recent polls show the race for votes in New Jersey is very close.

Edwards will also be attending a democratic fundraiser in Montclair Thursday night.
