New Jersey's 11th district candidates prepping for Election Day showdown

(10/25/04) BRIDGEWATER As Election Day approaches, Congressional candidates in New Jerseys 11th district continue to offer differing views on various issues affecting the state and the country.

Rodney Frelinghuysen (R-11th District), seeking his sixth term in office, will be taking on Democrat Jim Buell in the district covering parts of Sussex, Passaic, Somerset and Essex Counties. The two candidates differ sharply in their views on issues ranging from stem cell research, middle class tax cuts and the war in Iraq.

Although Frelinghuysen has spent five terms representing the 11th district, Buell has questioned many of his views and says the incumbent has not done a good job.
