Democratic National Committee is trying to move forward after presidential election
A forum was held in Hasbrouck Heights Saturday so Democrats could try and find a way to regroup after the presidential election.
Democrats in Bergen County hold the majority at nearly every level. But according to the DNC, there was time when Bergen County was predominantly Republican. So Democrats from other parts of the country are turning to Bergen Democrats for help.
A Senator from Michigan thinks the problem is communication. The Bergen County Democratic Chair thinks nationally the Democrats have let the Republicans define the party.
The overall feeling from the meeting was that the Democrats dont need a platform change, but a change in communication.
