National safe-city report has good news and bad news for New Jersey

(11/22/04) BRICK The findings in a new safety report bode well, and not so well for the state of New Jersey.

A list of the nations safest cities compiled by a Kansas-based research firm ranks Brick second and Dover tenth. On the reports negative side, Camden has replaced Detroit as the most dangerous city in the United States.

Residents of both Brick and Dover say they are thrilled with the safety of their community. Realtors say they use the reports findings as a selling point. Many people whove moved into the two towns from other cities say safety was a major factor.
