Morristown soup kitchen volunteers give thanks by helping others

Volunteers in Morristown have put their own Thanksgiving plans on the back burner in order to help the less fortunate.

Caring residents prepared a feast for 200 needy people on Thanksgiving Day at the Community Soup Kitchen. Everything one would expect from a huge Thanksgiving feast was present, from the turkey all the way to the yams. Volunteers taking part in the event say it is the best part of their Thanksgiving celebration.

One person who helped cook, prepare and serve the food says helping others is far more rewarding than a typical Thanksgiving gathering.
