Aggressive holiday drivers in Morris, Sussex counties on police naughty list

(12/02/04) JEFFERSON Police officers in Morris and Sussex counties will be giving out tickets as stocking stuffers to aggressive drivers during the holidays.

A multi-patrol police team will be busting speedsters on Route 15 from Sparta to the Route 80 interchange. A Jefferson Township police spokesperson says aggressive driving gets worse during the holiday season as people attempt to weave shopping into their busy schedules. According to the officer, aggressive drivers have no regard for the safety of others on the road.

Police say they will not be finding any holiday warmth in their hearts when it comes to the crackdown. They warn all violators will be getting tickets and points.
