Part of a family-owned business destroyed by fire in Monroe Township

Part of a family-owned business in Monroe Township was destroyed by an early morning fire Tuesday.

Several fire departments responded to the blaze at Railroad Salvage on Englishtown Road. Fire officials say the fire was contained inside the building between two fire doors.

No one was injured in the blaze. The owner of Railroad Salvage, which sells tools, go-carts and adult movies, says a lot of merchandise was destroyed.
