New Jersey residents hope MVC changes get green light
Residents throughout New Jersey hope Motor Vehicle Commission officials have placed increased convenience at the top of their New Years resolutions list.
Although many residents feel the MVC has made great strides in customer service, they also say more can be done. To help streamline the MVCs operation, an outside company has suggested opening more locations that would offer vehicle inspection and driving documents under one roof.
MVC officials are also considering setting license expiration dates to fall on peoples birthdays. They hope this method, instead of having the documents expire months end, will stop long lines from forming at the end of the month.
An MVC spokesperson says cost barriers could result in the changes taking place further in the future.
