'Operation Snowman' sting nets 15 suspected drug dealers in Union County

(01/06/05) PLAINFIELD ? Police nabbed 15 suspected drug dealers during an early-morning raid in Plainfield and North Plainfield Thursday.

Police say ?Operation Snowman? was designed to take down a major Union County heroin and cocaine supply ring. Despite the arrests, police officials say they failed to catch suspected ringleader Frankie Nevis. According to Union County Prosecutor Ted Romankow, police also seized five pounds of heroin during the raid.

Romankow says police ?are not going to stop seeking out drug dealers in Plainfield or any other city in Union County.?
