Department of Homeland Security tests new security system at Newark Airport

The Department of Homeland Security will be testing a new security system at Newark Liberty International Airport Wednesday.

The new hi-tech security system will be used to screen foreign passengers before they leave on flights from the United States. The passengers will have their two index fingers scanned as well as have their photo taken.

The new system is called an automatic biometric exit process.
