Things slowly returning to normal at Newark Airport after blizzard
Things are slowly returning to normal at Newark Liberty International Airport Sunday after a blizzard covered the runways with snow.
Travelers were stressed out and bored after the blizzard caused more than 300 flights to be canceled. And while many residents should have been relaxing in various sunny locations, they spent their time kicking back on the floor of the terminals.
Port Authority officials say almost all flights are on time. However, some people say they have not seen any planes take off. Airport officials urge travelers to leave extra time and call ahead to check flight status.
