Madison car dealership to move forward with expansion despite complaints

Despite many neighbors? complaints, a car dealership in Madison will be moving forward with plans to expand.

Madison Honda on Main Street won approval to expand from the town zoning board approximately five months ago. However, a group of citizens, calling themselves Madison Matters, appealed the approval. The group claims the expansion would hurt the quality of life in the area.

As a result of the appeal, Madison Honda toned down plans to keep the town?s historical look. The plans include knocking down one building and using the area as a used car lot. The plans also include a new building with a second floor for accounting offices.
