Acting governor Codey confronts radio talk show host about derogatory remarks

Acting governor Dick Codey confronted a radio talk show host Tuesday night after he made derogatory remarks.

The governor was at the Mercer County radio station to host his own radio show. According to Codey, host Craig Carton made some derogatory remarks about his wife and her battle with postpartum depression. A newspaper quoted Codey saying "I wish I wasn't governor or I'd take you out."

Codey says the newspaper misquoted him and he didn't tell Carton he'd take him out. Codey adds that his wife was upset by the comments but she will get through it. Carton admits he says, on-air, that women suffering from postpartum depression must be crazy in the first place. He also says he urged Codey to legalize medicinal marijuana.
