Senator Corzine collects more endorsements in NJ governor race

Senator Jon Corzine (D-NJ) continues to collect endorsements in the race for New Jersey governor. The latest group to give Corzine the nod was the Hudson County Democrats.

Speculation continues to circulate on whether acting Governor Dick Codey (D-NJ) will bow to Corzine, making a Democratic primary unnecessary. However, Codey?s wife, who spoke at a public appearance in Hackensack, countered that thought saying she wants him to run for governor because he has so much experience and good ideas.

Codey?s representatives said he may make an announcement about his campaign on Monday.
