Acting Governor Codey still undecided about governor?s race

There is still no word on whether acting Governor Dick Codey (D-NJ) will run in a Democratic primary against Senator Jon Corzine (D-NJ).

Politicians from New Jersey discussed the governor?s race while returning from the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce meeting in Washington, D.C. Assemblywoman Alison McHose (R-24th District) said she was disappointed that Corzine has apparently forced Codey out of the race.

Senator Paul Sarlo (D-36th District) believes that either way, New Jersey will be unified in November and retain the governorship in the hands of a Democrat.

Codey will be meeting with advisors over the weekend and may have a possible decision by Monday.
