Hackensack University Hospital treats 18 after Teterboro plane crash

(02/02/05) HACKENSACK ? Eighteen victims involved in a Teterboro Airport plane crash Wednesday were taken to Hackensack University Hospital for treatment.

Of the 18, three people were admitted. The plane?s co-pilot is listed in serious condition and a person injured in a nearby automobile is listed in critical condition. Investigators and emergency response personnel say seven other passengers, five firefighters, the plane?s pilot, a warehouse employee and two bystanders were all treated for minor injuries.

The injuries occurred after a Bombardier Challenger CL-600 corporate jet skidded off the runway at Teterboro Airport and crashed into a nearby clothing store warehouse. There were no fatalities as a result of the incident.
