New Jersey reservists back home after yearlong tour of duty in Iraq

(02/11/05) LAWRENCEVILLE ? Army reservists of B Battery, 3rd Battalion of the 112th Field Artillery were welcomed home with open arms in Lawrenceville after a yearlong tour of duty in Iraq.

In addition to family members, high-ranking politicians were also in attendance to praise the reservists for serving their country. Although all of the troops were thrilled to be back home, many were still thinking of the four unit members who lost their lives in the troubled country. A special moment of recognition was held for the four deceased soldiers.

Once the ceremonies were over, the battalion was dismissed and allowed to return home with their families.
