Owner of popular deli in Irvington shot and killed during a robbery

Regulars at Don?s Deli in Irvington are mourning the loss of its owner, who was killed Monday night.

Authorities say Don Amiliani was shot and killed during a robbery. Neighbors say Amiliani was a father of a young boy and lived in an apartment above the store. Residents say there have been many robberies in the area in the last few years.

Police are searching for three suspects in connection with the deadly shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call Irvington police at (973) 399-6521.
