Elderly couple struck by car on heavily traveled West Windsor street

A car struck an elderly couple trying to cross a heavily traveled street in West Windsor Tuesday. According to police, the couple were crossing Princeton-Hightstown Road, just south of Alexander Road around 9:30 p.m. The 79-year-old woman was killed and her 83-year-old husband is in critical condition. The 65-year-old driver of the car is not facing charges and the accident is under investigation.
