Police believe a string of armed robberies in Newark might be related

A string of armed robberies occurred Saturday morning within a few hours of each other and authorities believe they may be related.

Authorities say one man was robbed by four men at gun point in front his neighbor?s house on North 11th street. In another case, four men held up an attendant at a gas station on Nesbitt Terrace.

Police say there were four additional armed robberies with similar descriptions that took place within hours the other incidents. Officers say the license plate and car description were the same from each case.
