Irvington reverend draws audience from across NJ that want to hear him speak

Members of Christian Love Baptist Church in Irvington say it is impossible to get a seat on Sunday. People from across New Jersey come to hear Reverend Ronald Christian tell the community words of encouragement.

Reverend Christian says he overcame a lot in his life to be where he is today. Christian was in prison and a former drug user he then came to the realization that he needed to change his way of life. He is now committed to spreading a message of hope to others.

Since becoming a pastor a little over four years ago, the congregation has grown from 30 members to more than 5,000. Reverend Christian has also opened churches in West Africa, Haiti and the Philippines.
