Jet skids off Teterboro Airport runway; second time in five weeks

A small business jet skidded off the runway at Teterboro airport in Bergen County Wednesday. This is the second time in five weeks that a jet slid off a runway at the airport.The Hawker aircraft carrying two passengers and two crewmembers from Columbus, Ohio, landed on Runway 1 around 10:15 p.m. The plane skidded off the runway and wound up in a muddy area about 200 to 300 feet past the end of the runway. Authorities say there were no injuries and no visible damage was done to the jet. The cause of the incident has not been determined.
