Man accused in murder of Fairfield jewelers may soon face charges in CT

The man accused of murdering a Fairfield couple in their jewelry store may soon be brought to Connecticut to face charges. Chris DiMeo, 23, is accused of fatally shooting Tim and Kim Donnelly last February.

Man accused in murder of Fairfield jewelers may soon face charges in CT
The man accused of murdering a Fairfield couple in their jewelry store may soon be brought to Connecticut to face charges.
Chris DiMeo, 23, is accused of fatally shooting Tim and Kim Donnelly last February. DiMeo is currently serving a life sentence in an upstate New York prison for the murder of a Long Island jeweler. An extradition hearing will be held Friday at that correctional facility near Plattsburg.
The state's attorney expects DiMeo to be ordered to Connecticut following the hearing. The state's attorney has not yet said if he will seek the death penalty.
