Students and alumni mark anniversary of deadly Seton Hall fire

? Students and alumni attended ceremonies on the Seton Hall University campus Thursday to mark the six-year anniversary of a fatal dorm fire.
The fire broke out at Boland Hall in 2000 and claimed the lives of Aaron Karol, John Giunta and Frank Caltabilota. Fifty others were also injured. Investigators believe the fire started when couches in the dorm?s third floor lounge were set on fire.
Students and alumni who visited the campus to remember the tragedy say they are still shaken by the event. Two students were indicted in 2003 on charges of murder and arson as part of the fire investigation. They are appealing those charges to the state Supreme Court.
