Hundreds attend funeral for murdered Roselle girl

Posted: Updated:

? More than 700 mourners gathered in Roselle Saturday for the funeral of a murdered teenage girl.

Family, friends, classmates and community members said their final goodbyes to 14-year-old Judy Cajuste at the First Baptist Methodist Church. Many remembered Cajuste as being warm and intelligent. Her naked, strangled body was found in a dumpster in Newark earlier this month. Police are investigating whether the Abraham Clark High School freshman met her killer on the Internet; authorities found her profile on myspace.com.

Officials are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
